A used Volkswagen Passat in Portugal costs between €10,000 for older B8 models (2015+) and over €40,000 for recent Variant R-Line versions. The 2.0 TDI 150 hp Variant from 2018-2020 with 80,000-120,000 km is the most popular, typically priced between €18,000 and €26,000. The Variant (estate) dominates sales in Portugal.

The Passat B8 offers diesel 1.6 TDI 120 hp and 2.0 TDI with 150 hp and 190 hp, petrol 1.5 TSI 150 hp, and the GTE plug-in hybrid with 218 hp in Portugal. The 2.0 TDI 150 hp with DSG is by far the most popular version, especially in the fleet segment.
