How is the price rating calculated?
Our price rating compares a vehicle's price against similar cars on the market — same brand, model, year, fuel type, gearbox, and mileage range. We use percentile-based analysis across thousands of listings to assign a 1 to 5 star rating: 5 stars means the price is in the lowest 20% for comparable vehicles (excellent deal), 4 stars is below average (very good), 3 stars is around the median (good), 2 stars is slightly above average (fair), and 1 star means the price is above the 60th percentile. Ratings update regularly as market prices change. A vehicle without a rating simply means there aren't enough comparable listings yet for an accurate assessment.
Do I need to register to use Automar?
No registration is required to browse and search for vehicles on Automar.pt. You can freely explore all listings, compare prices, and use our advanced filters. A free account is only needed if you want to create your own listing, save favorite vehicles, or set up saved searches.
How do I contact a seller on Automar?
Each advertisement page includes a contact form where you can send a message directly to the seller. Simply fill in your name, email, phone number, and your message. The seller will receive your inquiry by email and can respond to you directly.
