Leapmotor, a Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer, has recently announced its latest model, the Leapmotor A10. This compact SUV is set to be a direct competitor to other popular models in the Portuguese market, such as the Renault 4.
The Leapmotor A10 is expected to hit the Portuguese market next year. The estimated price, including 23% VAT and import costs, is around 30,000 EUR. This positions it competitively against other electric SUVs available in Portugal.

The Leapmotor A10 is expected to have a starting price around €25,000 to €30,000 in Portugal, including 23% VAT and import costs. This positions it below the Leapmotor B10, which starts at €27,600 in Portugal, making it one of the most affordable electric SUVs on the Portuguese market.
The Leapmotor A10 is expected to reach the European market in the second half of 2026. In Europe, the model may be marketed under the B03X designation. Distribution in Portugal will be handled by the Stellantis network, which already sells the Leapmotor T03, B10, and C10 models in the country.
The Leapmotor A10 offers two battery options: a 39.8 kWh unit with approximately 403 km of range and a 53 kWh unit delivering up to 505 km (CLTC cycle). Under the European WLTP cycle, real-world range is expected to be between 320 and 400 km. The electric motor produces 90 kW (122 hp).
The Leapmotor A10 measures 4,270 mm in length and sits in the B-SUV segment, competing directly with the Citroën ë-C3 Aircross, Kia EV3, Peugeot E-2008, Fiat 600e, and the upcoming Renault 4. Compared to these rivals, it stands out for its competitive pricing, LiDAR-equipped driver assistance, and a 14.6-inch 2.5K resolution central display.
The Leapmotor A10 will be distributed in Portugal through the Stellantis network, Leapmotor's European partner. This includes Peugeot, Citroën, Opel, and Fiat dealerships, which handle sales, technical assistance, and after-sales service. Stellantis already manages distribution of other Leapmotor models across the European market.
The Leapmotor A10 presents itself as an appealing option for Portuguese buyers seeking an electric SUV with cutting-edge technology and good range. With a competitive price and advanced features, this vehicle could be a smart choice for those looking to enter the electric vehicle market without sacrificing performance or style.
